As I write this, it is 1:23AM on a cold drizzly Thursday night. I’m stuck at a Starbucks a good 10-minute drive from my house. No, I didn’t go here to make my best “flip open my Macbook while sipping on a cold frappucino pare” impression – I was brutally forced out of my couch by a buggy DSL connection. Of all days, why today?
My workweek can only be described as an endless whirlwind of tasks that come one after the other. Overall chairman for the company’s first ever sportsfest? Check. Team leader for an online campaign for one of the leading Internet retailers in the US. Check. Well at least it got me to FINALLY start this blog. I’ve been putting it off for so long -- only because I couldn’t find time to just sit down and start typing. Well, here I am.
Through this blog, you’ll find out that I’m a very simple person. People may say I’m a conformist or people pleaser. I just think I’m a very easy person to satisfy, and that I love to help people out. Nothing wrong about that right? Nobody wants to be judged as much as the next person.
Sports is one of my passions. I love being a spectator. I love how my body hurts the day after an intense gym workout. I love the sense of accomplishment after playing basketball for 2 hours -- knowing it’s perfectly okay to devour another serving of crispy pata with kare-kare and bagoong (Bah!).
My life would not be complete without videogames. Heck, I think videogames are the only thing that keep me glued in one spot for hours. This passion also goes hand in hand with a zest for gadgets and technology. No, I don’t think Super Mario Bros. is the best videogame ever made (More on this later).
Why gone in 30 seconds? Because that’s all the time you need to read each post in this blog. Oops, I think I’ve gone overtime.
